To support your needs, I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment that will help you deal with your personal challenges, concerns, and worries. I have a special interest in helping clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, parenting, co-parenting, and life transitions such as divorce or job loss. To address your specific needs and goals, I utilize a variety of techniques and modalities such as mindfulness, guided visualization, art therapy, and play therapy. Using a collaborative approach, wherein we talk through issues, I offer you feedback, reflective listening, and psycho-education. Feeling heard, understood, and accepted are the first steps that will lead you to a better place. Over time, you will be able to understand yourself better and develop more satisfying relationships with others. Hello! I am a pre-licensed marriage and family therapy intern, IMF #90012 working under the supervision of Doreen Maxwell, LMFT #41105. I earned my masters degree in Counseling Psychology in 2015 from Santa Clara University and have over four years of experience in the field of psychology and mental health. My approach is tailored to fit the needs of each individual I see. For some people, getting equipped with concrete skills and strategies is the most important thing. For others, it's feeling heard and understood, or feeling safe enough to explore or divulge extremely difficult or personal information. Many individuals find deep satisfaction in getting in touch with their inner hearts and spirits with the assistance of a guide. My goal is to meet each client where they are and collaborate to develop a course of treatment in line with his or her needs, goals, and priorities.


Oftentimes, relationships turn out to be the most fraught areas of our lives. As social beings, our most intimate relationships are critically important, and they can be powerful influencers on the rest of our lives. When they are going well, the world is our oyster. But when they go off track it can seem impossible to manage even the minor stressors of everyday life. Relationships offer us the highest of highs and the most stressful of lows, often seemingly without much regard for our intentions or efforts. Whether relationships are in need of a tune-up or on the brink of collapse, as a couples counselor I offer an array of powerful interventions aimed at restoring their strength, vitality, and resilience. 

As a Santa Clara native, I have experienced the great shifts that have occurred in Silicon Valley in recent decades, especially the huge growth of the tech industry and changes in lifestyle and demographics that came with it. It is not uncommon to experience some degree of culture shock when things change so dramatically, especially for those just arriving. For all of us, maintaining work-life balance is an incredibly important and sometimes impossible-seeming task in this valley.
